VETERANS DAY 2007

On Veterans Day in the U.S.A.
American pride is on display.
Bands on parade are heard to play.

We celebrate each hero’s role.
The ones who fought with heart and soul.
We know the struggle took its toll.

  Wounded warriors deserve our care.
We must remove the load they bear
And show our gratitude is there.

  It isn’t the jets and tanks we cheer.
The humble soldiers we hold dear. 
Remember them throughout the year.
