At age 56, she is in her 10th year on the bench and has handled over 40,000 cases while keeping her trial docket backlog free.

Judge Miller’s commitment to Community Service includes:

- Charter Member of the Domestic Violence Task Force.

- Altrusa Service Club, Domestic Violence Committee.

- Eustis Business and Professional Women, Program Committee.

- American Association of University Women, Scholarship Chair.

- Member of five local Chambers of Commerce.

- Abigail Adams Presenter - 1776 Patriotic Program.

- Volunteer writer - weekly legal column for The Daily Commercial.

 Judge Miller has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Juris Doctorate, and over 300 hours of

 judicial continuing education.

 Judge Miller taught public school for 11 yrs. before becoming an attorney.

 Judge Miller was the attorney for the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, an attorney in private

 practice, after serving as an assistant public defender.  

 Judge Miller is the only woman ever elected Lake County Judge.

 Judge Miller is married to Jim Miller, commercial realtor, civic leader, and

 volunteer.  They have raised his two sons, Andy 29 and Bill 27.
